About Kathryn
Kathryn is a passionate, empathetic Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD). She has 10 years of experience delivering evidence-based nutrition care across diverse clinical settings. Over the last 4 years, she has worked within a specialist colorectal surgical service at a large quaternary hospital in Sydney. Here, she worked with some incredible clinicians and people travelling from all over Australia to receive complex surgeries with the goal of curing their cancer.
At the end of 2025, she decided to hang up her hospital shoes, and with her family, move back to their hometown, Canberra. Kathryn's dream is to create an accessible, supportive and specialist cancer care nutrition clinic, with a focus on improving recovery and quality of life.

Kathryn's dedication to oncology nutrition is deeply personal. Twenty years ago, she lost her mum to a rare tumour type, a loss that continues to shape her commitment to improving quality of life for those affected by cancer. This drive led her to co-design research, working with women with lived experience of ovarian cancer. Through this research, Kathryn heard firsthand about the gaps and shortfalls in cancer care. Their insights of the healthcare system have inspired her move into private practice. Here, she aims to offer more personalised, inclusive, and responsive support while still driven by evidence-based care.
Kathryn is on a mission to tackle nutrition misinformation. In a world overflowing with wellness fads and conflicting advice, she believes in cutting through the noise with clarity, kindness, and science. Whether she's crafting resources, facilitating workshops, or working one-on-one, her goal is to empower people with trustworthy, practical guidance that respects their lived experience.
When she's not working, you’ll find her unwinding with a paint-by-numbers, watching her new vegetable patch grow or strolling with her golden cavoodle, Louie - her fluffy sidekick and daily reminder to slow down and savour the moment.
